Ron Robinson gets his first hit

Padres 3, Reds 2 in Cincinnati

Sept. 10, 1985: Ron Robinson got his first career hit against the Padres at Riverfront Stadium. He hit a single to CF off LaMarr Hoyt in B5. He ended his career with 22 hits and 6 RBIs.

Grandma’s notes show that she was excited about the possibility of Pete Rose becoming the All-Time Hit King. He didn’t get a hit, that will come the next night on 9/11/85.
