Ron Oester’s Last Hit

Oct. 3, 1990: Ron Oester got his last hit of his career against the Astros at Riverfront Stadium. He hit a double to RF off Juan Agosto in B8. He ended his career with 1,118 hits.

This is special because Ron Oester was one of her favorites. I distinctly remember riding my bike down to her house so excited to give her my 1981 Topps Ron Oester card I had just pulled, simply because she told me he was her favorite.
