Nolan Ryan’s 3,000th Strikeout

 July 4th, 1980: Nolan Ryan struck out Cesar Geronimo in B2 for his 3,000th career strikeout. He ended his career with 5,714 strikeouts. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.
