Ken Griffey’s 2,000th Game

Sept. 30, 1989: Ken Griffey plays in his 2,000th game when he comes in to pinch hit for Mike Roesler in B7 and he flies out to LF. He played in 2,097 career games. Grandma was excited and she tells us, “What a hand Griffey got!!! for 2,000”.
