Don Sutton’s Final Game

Aug. 8, 1988: Don Sutton made his final career start in his 774th career game.  He went 7.0 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 5 SO, 2 HR. Eric Davis struck out swinging in B7 for Don Sutton’s final strikeout # 3574. His career record was 324-256 and he was inducted in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1998.
