Johnny Bench’s 1,000th RBI

July 27, 1977: Johnny Bench hits a single to LF off Paul Reuschel in T8 driving in George Foster for his 1,000th career RBI. He ended his career with 1,376 RBIs. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989.
